The short version
- We collect what you choose to send us: your name, an email address or WhatsApp number, your website and a few answers about your business. We use it to reply to you and prepare for our call.
- We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages help people. We don’t use advertising trackers, and we never use analytics to identify you.
- We never sell your personal data or share it for anyone else’s marketing.
- A small number of service providers (hosting, email, security and website analytics) process data for us, under contract.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Write to hello@bridgee.in.
1. Who we are
This website, bridgee.in, and the BridgeE brand are operated by Sunandha Media Solutions Private Limited, a company incorporated in India and based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu (“BridgeE”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
We decide why and how the personal data described here is processed. Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) that makes us the Data Fiduciary. Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) it makes us the controller.
This policy covers personal data we collect through the website and through the messages you send us because of it. When a business becomes our client, the data we handle while delivering services is covered by the agreement we sign with that client.
2. What we collect
Details you give us
When you send us a brief or book a call through the contact form, we collect:
- Your name.
- How to reach you: an email address or a WhatsApp number, whichever you choose.
- Your website, if you add it.
- About your business: what you sell and what you want more of, plus anything you write in the notes field.
- Context sent with the form: the page you came to the form from and your browser’s time zone, so we can reply at a sensible hour.
If you sign up for our insights or ask to hear when a page goes live, we receive your email address. These forms open a pre-written email in your own email app, so we also receive whatever that email contains when you send it.
If you email us, message us on WhatsApp or contact us through social media, we receive your message and your contact details as that service shows them to us.
Please don’t send us sensitive personal data (such as health, financial account or government ID details) through the website. We don’t need it to reply to you.
Technical data
Like every website, ours receives some technical data when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you request, the page that referred you and the date and time. Our hosting and security providers process this to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
When you send the contact form, we also keep your browser type, the approximate country your connection comes from and a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address. We use these only to stop spam and abuse of the form. We don’t keep your IP address itself with your enquiry.
Website analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive (for example, from a search engine or a link), roughly where they are (country and city), the device and browser they use, how far they scroll, which links they follow (including taps on our phone, WhatsApp and email links, but never the number or address itself), and when a contact form is sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and a randomly generated ID for your browser to do this. It doesn’t receive your name, email address, phone number or the answers you type into our forms, and we don’t try to identify you from it. Google processes this data for us under its data processing terms.
Data kept in your own browser
Some features save small amounts of data in your browser’s local storage, on your device. It isn’t sent to us. See Cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use it
We use personal data only for these purposes:
- To reply to your enquiry, schedule and hold a call, and prepare for it (for example, by looking at the website you shared).
- To send you a proposal or follow-up you asked for, and to continue the conversation.
- To send you our insights if you subscribed. Each email lets you leave.
- To keep the website secure: to detect and stop spam, fraud and attacks.
- To understand and improve the website: aggregate statistics on which pages are visited and how people find us (see Website analytics).
- To meet our legal obligations and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We don’t use your data for automated decision-making or profiling that affects you, and we don’t use it to target you with advertising.
4. Why we’re allowed to use it
In India, we process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you send us a form or message, for the purpose it was given. We may also process it for legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as the specific purpose for which you voluntarily gave it to us, or to comply with the law.
In the EU and UK, our legal bases are:
- Taking steps at your request before entering into a contract: replying to your brief, holding a call and sending a proposal.
- Consent: for our insights emails.
- Legitimate interests: keeping the website secure and preventing abuse, and following up on a conversation you started. We balance these against your rights, and you can object at any time.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep or disclose data.
Visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland: analytics cookies are switched off for you, and Google receives only cookieless signals that can’t be tied to your browser.
5. Your consent, and withdrawing it
Giving us your details is voluntary. If you choose not to, we may not be able to reply to you or work with you.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: email hello@bridgee.in, or use the unsubscribe link in any insights email. Withdrawing consent doesn’t affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it. Once you withdraw, we stop processing your data for that purpose and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
6. Who we share it with
We never sell, rent or trade your personal data, and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers who help us run the website and our business: hosting and infrastructure, email, security and website analytics (Google) providers. They process data on our instructions, under contracts that require them to protect it and use it for nothing else.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and auditors, under a duty of confidentiality, when we need their advice.
- Authorities, when the law, a court order or a lawful government request requires it, or to protect the rights, property or safety of BridgeE, our clients or others.
- A successor business, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Your data would remain protected under this policy, and we’d tell you before it became subject to a different one.
7. International transfers
We’re based in India, and some of our service providers process data in other countries, on servers around the world. When we transfer personal data outside India, we do so as the DPDP Act permits, and never to a country the Government of India has restricted.
If you’re in the EU or UK, your data may be transferred to countries that the EU or UK hasn’t recognised as giving equivalent protection. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK’s equivalent, or on another lawful transfer mechanism.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above:
| What | How long |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that don’t lead to an engagement | Up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can pick the conversation back up. Then we delete or anonymise them. |
| Enquiries that become an engagement | For the length of the engagement and as long afterwards as the law requires (for example, tax and accounting records). |
| Insights subscription | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. |
| Spam and abuse checks | Only as long as needed to protect the form. |
| Technical logs | Kept by our hosting and security providers for short periods, under their own retention schedules. |
| Website analytics | Google Analytics keeps visit data linked to the browser ID for 14 months, then only aggregate reports remain. |
You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see Your rights). We’ll do so unless the law requires us to keep it.
9. How we protect it
We protect personal data with reasonable security safeguards, including:
- Encryption in transit: the whole site is served over HTTPS.
- Limited access: only the people who need your details to reply to you or work with you can see them.
- Trusted providers: established hosting, email and security providers with their own security programmes.
- Abuse protection: checks that stop automated and repeated submissions.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach affects you, we’ll inform you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
10. Your rights
In India (DPDP Act, 2023)
As a Data Principal, you have the right to:
- Access information about your personal data: a summary of the data we process and what we do with it, and the identities of others we’ve shared it with.
- Correct, complete and update your personal data.
- Erase your personal data, when it is no longer needed for the purpose it was given and the law doesn’t require us to keep it.
- Withdraw your consent at any time.
- Grievance redressal: have a complaint about how we handle your data answered by us (see Grievance officer and contact).
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to.
If you’re not satisfied with our response to a grievance, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
In the EU and UK (GDPR)
If you’re in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access your data, have it corrected, erased or restricted, object to our processing, receive it in a portable format and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). We’d appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
Elsewhere
We work with businesses in the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Canada, Australia and other countries. Wherever you are, we’ll honour requests to access, correct or delete your personal data, and you may have further rights under your local privacy laws. We don’t sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How to use your rights
Email hello@bridgee.in with the subject line “Privacy request” and tell us what you’d like. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, to protect your data from anyone pretending to be you. Using your rights is free.
11. Children
Our website and services are meant for businesses and the adults who run them. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we’ll delete it.
12. Cookies and similar technologies
We use analytics cookies, and no advertising cookies. Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that keep a random ID for your browser for up to 2 years, so a return visit isn’t counted as a new visitor. Advertising storage and ad personalisation are switched off for every visitor, and in the EU, the UK and Switzerland analytics cookies are switched off too.
You can refuse analytics cookies by blocking or clearing cookies for bridgee.in in your browser settings, or by installing Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works the same either way.
Our hosting and security providers may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies to keep the site available and secure, for example to tell real visitors apart from automated attacks. These don’t follow you across other websites.
Some features remember things using your browser’s local storage, on your device only:
- The contact form keeps your answers while you fill it in, so you don’t lose them if you leave the page. They’re cleared when the form is sent. After sending, your browser keeps your answers and your name so the thank-you page can show your brief.
- Checklists in our articles and playbooks remember the items you’ve ticked.
- Our design system pages remember your display preferences, such as light or dark previews.
None of this is sent to us. You can clear it at any time from your browser’s settings (usually under “site data”), and the site still works if you block it.
If we ever add advertising cookies, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
13. Other websites and services
Our site links to other services, such as WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and X, share buttons, and AI assistants you can ask about us. When you follow one of these links or use one of these services to contact us, that service’s own terms and privacy policy apply. We’re not responsible for how other services handle your data, so please read their policies.

15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website, our services or the law change. The date at the top always shows when it took effect.
